Piegaro (m 356, from 3718) located on the eastern side of the river Nestor, tra Perugia and Città della Pieve, in an area of dense woods, vineyards and olive groves. Renowned since the Middle Ages for the production and processing of glass, is now the Museo del Vetro, recovering the recently founded the ancient glassware.
To see the Parish Church of San Silvestro (X Secolo), the Church of Our Lady of the spreader (Sixteenth century) and Palace of the Counts of Bulgarelli Marsciano.
Of great interest is the nature Park Montarale, which offers a breathtaking view of the valley and Lake Nestor Trasimeno.
There are many tours you can do in the surroundings of the small village: Castiglion Fosco, small medieval town characterized by the cylindrical tower, the Church of the Holy Cross, Castle Cibottola, the Church of San Fortunato and the Convent of St. Bartholomew, Castle Gaiche, the Church of San Lorenzo (1391) and the Oratory of San Bernardino, the little church of San Lorenzo in Greppolischieto (Fourteenth century), the Abbey of the Seven Brothers in Pietrafitta (XI-XII century), the Church of the Madonna del Fosso and Santa Maria Assunta.
