This baroque church was built in 1612 by fathers Barnabites and closed in the first 1810, with the Napoleonic suppression to the convent and then, definitely, in 1860.

Little is known of the interior of this church, that would still be, very rich, if only because one of the chapels, that of the Virgin of Seven Sorrows, had left his signature sculptor Giuseppe Scaglia.

Little is known of the paintings also, Furniture and religious objects, inventoried at the time (300 pieces circa9 outside of two banks "with respective knee".

Over time, the monastery underwent various uses: remember, particularly, the Institute of San Carlo, institution founded in 1888 a Foligno for educational youth, within which was also placed in a printing 1890, known as Typography Workmen of St. Charles.

The church is currently used as a theater.
