It is the result of a restructuring carried out in the second half of the seventeenth century and later remodeled. In the frame of the window to the right of the portal appear intertwined letters G and P, probably the initials of Gregory Piermarini.
The main floor, now serving as offices of the City population, atrium has an inscription commemorative of the business of Cardinal Giovanni Vitelleschi, as a papal legate, Pope Eugene IV, in 1439 defeated the army of Trinci and restored in the territory of Foligno the Government of the Apostolic See.
Four environments (the room of Joseph, David's room, Solomon's room and the room of Moses) are decorated by an unknown artist executed in the sixth to seventh decade of the seventeenth century.
