L'Orto Jacobilli, where stands the imposing Tower of the Five Cantons, is located in the town center, close to the medieval walls. The garden measures approximately 2.200 square meters and has interesting remains of the channels used for irrigation and residual vegetation, especially poplars.

It is accessed from via Augusto bill through a portal into bricks. The eastern side of the garden consists of masonry brick and cobblestone, and uncertain, half, a part of the last city boundaries, on which are visible a number of niches-slits and a turret; between the two portions of the wall is seen a portal with balcony, looking out from where you can see a section of the city's medieval moat.

The south side of the garden is, instead, gives a slow wall medievale, partially rebuilt, that fits over the remains of a late antique bridge (secc. IV-V).

Nell’orto e nella torre è stato recentemente allestito un Astronomical Observatory.
