Was at first a center of penitents affiliated to the Servants of Mary, then institutionalized with Augustinian rule, by 1326; in 1425 became the center of the second order of regular observance Franciscan. Is still a place of contemplative life.
Under the entrance porch is a Madonna with Child and Saints Lucy and Clare, fresco Pierantonio Mezzastris. Inside the monastery are works of Marcantonio Grecchi, Giovan Battista Michelini, Nicholas Epifani. Is There, also, a St. Francis receiving the stigmata, of Perugia Anton Maria Fabrizi. A large cycle of frescoes Stories of Passion, attributed to the circle of Nasini, partly repainted, decorates the lunettes of the cloister.
To the left of the entrance there is the Church of Saint Lucia, rebuilt in 1928 second lines neogothic. Inside the church, decorations Vincenzo Turchetti. To remember, front of the door, a Crucifixion, considered fresco by Giotto school, a statue of Santa Lucia, operates perhaps engraver Foligno Antonio Calcioni, the right of the altar, normally covered by a canvas with a Santa Lucia, attributed to Giovan Battista Michelini. On the back of the altar, walnut choir with dossals covered with miniature scrolls that depict saints and saints, images placeable the early sixteenth century and variously attributed to Pierantonio Mezzastris, Master of Cola Banks or Lattanzio Niccolo.
On the altar is left, as well as a painting Sant'Andrea, attributed to Giovan Battista Michelini, There were two other works, Virgin and Child, Pierantonio Mezzastris, and St. Francis receiving the stigmata, Niccolo Pupil, both now in the Museum of the city.
