A Foligno since the early 60s is an active Central Laboratory of Experimental Sciences, used as a venue for training courses for teachers of science. It includes: the Laboratory of Chemistry, the Laboratory of Microbiology, The Classroom Computer, the Laboratory of Physics, il Planetarium, Conference Hall and the Botanical Garden, with about 200 plants. It is used for both activities available to schools of all levels for both activities also directed to areas outside of school (collaboration with public institutions, Italian and foreign universities, Institutes for Educational Research and Experimentation, dissemination of scientific culture through exhibitions and seminars, conducting seminars and education of the population Lifelong, training and refresher courses for teachers, students, operators of public and private).
