In the middle of Corso Cavour is on the left the beautiful Palazzo Cattani, historic headquarters of the Savings Bank of Foligno, after which you turn left onto via Rutili leading to Piazza San Francesco, where stands the church of the same name that holds the remains of the mystic Blessed Angela of Foligno. Then return to Corso Cavour in our continuing journey to arrive at a major crossroads where you can choose between two paths:

  • First Course (the shortest): takes you to the right of the crossroad Via Garibaldi, where a few dozen meters opens a small square on the left, which is located in the Chapel of the Annunciation Nunziatella with access from street. Returning then to Via Garibaldi, follow it until you reach the monument that is dedicated to Garibaldi Square, which opens on the left, within which is the Church of St. Saviour (currently closed for restoration). In front of the square stands the church of St. Augustine, better known as the Church of Our Lady of Tears, the right of where there is an alley with a pebbly bottom, which leads to a square with the side entrance to the church through a small step. Leaving the church, again in the square, you can go left on Nicholas Street School pupil on the left until you find the small Church of St. Catherine, accessed past a step. Inside the Blessed Sacrament is exposed for most of the day. Continuing Student Nicholas Street to Via Umberto I. There are veranda runs along the left at the end of which is Via dei Monasteries. Once on this street, about ten yards on the left, is the monastery of St. Anne with the church and cloister accessible. Today the monastery is also a structure with a few beds for disabled. Leaving the Monastery, making verse Via Umberto I, Cross this road and take Via Giuseppe Piermarini ending on Corso Cavour, turning left to return to the parking lot.
  • According Path: continue straight onto Largo Carducci with a slight slope facing uphill where there is the Cathedral San Feliciano, accessible entrance which is slightly shifted to the right and has a short steep ramp with handrails. After leaving the church to the right there overlooking the Piazza della Repubblica, where you can visit the Museum of Palazzo Trinci, the Town Hall and can also be accessed with the Public Relations Office, accessible. From the square, looking Palazzo Trinci, are on the right Via XX Settembre, that leads to St. James with the homonymous church and cloister, the interesting, while on the left of Piazza della Repubblica we find Via Gramsci on the right that leads to Piazza del Grano, where every morning is served the vegetable market and where the comunale library. Continuing along Via Gramsci, you get to Largo Frezzi, where is the entrance to the Auditorium and then joins us in Piazza San Domenico. From Piazza San Domenico Church of Santa Maria along the Infraportas, the oldest of Foligno is currently undergoing restructuring, climb along Via Santa Maria Infraportas, turn on the short and slightly steep hill to the left and you enter the park of Canapés. After crossing the park to exit at Via Nazario Sauro always bring you back to Porta Romana and the parking.
