The mosaics of Terme Romane that were built in the second century. d.C. near the hole of the ancient monuments and other buildings Mevania; you can still see the remains of a temple, the Roman theater and one of the houses. The complex is important, of a public nature, was divided according to the Roman tradition in four environments; the largest has a floor mosaic in black and white tiles, with decorations that draw on the repertoire of mythological and ornamental marine character, as in use in Roman times: newts, seahorses, Dolphins. Next to the main compartment were discovered remains of other rooms to be identified with the caldarium and tepidarium. Several other mosaics, reported mostly within the city walls, are testimony to the great importance which the Romans gave to the care of the person and the body, especially after the first century. a.C., when the baths became a daily practice, and an occasion to meet and communicate.

Accessibility

There are some difficulties accessing: There are two high steps leading to a narrow gate that you must open both doors, all located on a steep uphill, uncomfortable, but from the bottom, cobblestone.
